EduSport is a games based learning program that was established by the Breds Treasure Beach Foundation in 2011, to address the need for structured physical education at the primary and infant levels in parts of rural Jamaica. The programme promotes the holistic development of children by improving their fitness levels, encouraging the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills, and promoting leadership, teamwork, discipline, conflict resolution, and effective communication through the use of games. Through a partnership with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information and UNICEF Jamaica, EduSport has expanded its reach to approximately 37,000 Jamaican students.
